A lot of time in my childhood was spent wandering through the Pennsylvania woods either on foot or with my horse. The rustling of tree tops in the wind, the ability of young trees beginning life deep in the woods, the sound of water rushing over a rocky creek bed filled me with peace and a sense of well-being. Visiting Yosemite National Park for the first time this year brought back the same feelings only ten-fold. The immensity of the trees in Yosemite, the gigantic waterfalls and rocks, the Merced river over flowing brought me back to my roots.
The photographs here were made in the Spring of 2023. I am looking forward to more trips to Yosemite National Park throughout the coming years.
